<p style="text-align: justify;">Dr. Ayume is a senior medical doctor and politician representing Koboko Municipality in 2021 and became the Chairman of the Parliamentary Committee on Health from 2021 to 2024 where he handled several health-related matters including The Public Health (Amendment) Bill, 2021. Dr. Ayume also serves as a Member of the Parliamentary Forum on Malaria and the Parliamentary Forum on Non-Communicable Diseases. He has a bachelor’s degree in medicine and surgery from Makerere University and a master’s degree in health policy, planning and financing. He is a strong advocate of health systems strengthening and policy. Before joining politics, Dr. Ayume worked with State House Health Monitoring Unit for 14 years and was key in highlighting the challenges Uganda healthcare system was facing.</p>

Advocates with over 18 years of hands-on experience in litigation, over a wide spectrum of legal disputes, investment structuring, and advisory, transaction documents preparation, review and evaluation, client risk assessment and mitigation, arbitration, and alternative dispute resolution. One of the most respected Litigation Lawyers in Uganda, Julius has a proven track record of delivering legal solutions for simple and complex legal needs, with experience across different cultures in Africa, and the Gulf Cooperation Countries. Julius has demonstrated a track record of successfully representing clients in litigation in all courts of judicature, from the magistrate’s court, military courts, and administrative tribunals up to the Supreme Court of Uganda. He is a Member of the Uganda Law Society, and the East Africa Law Society. Julius holds a Bachelor’s of Laws Degree – Makerere University, Postgraduate Diploma in Legal Practice – Law Development Centre, MBA (ESAMI), MSc. Construction Law and Dispute Resolution (with Distinction)- British University in Dubai and is currently pursuing a PhD at <em>National University</em> of <em>Singapore</em></p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">Dr. Ekwan is an Occupational therapist who from working a Regional Referral Hospital has risen to the rank of Principal Occupational Therapist at Mulago National Referral Hospital. Francis advanced in the field of psychology and Mastered in Neurology within Occupational therapy before finally taking a long-term research career at the University of Cape Town, South Africa focused on human occupation, enablement, and participation. He has unique knowledge and expertise that encompasses specialist rehabilitation services for patients experiencing body-activity function limitations (handling patients with brain injury, spine injury, hand injury, autism, and body defects). His most recent PhD addresses the fundamental issue of human life looking at occupation actualization. Francis has brought together health experts and researchers from the University of Cape Town, Mulago National Referral Hospital, and across the globe to tackle the problem of children with brain injury that often cause life loss or function loss and he recently co-created Four-star Model for Enablement and Participation; offering opportunity for attainment of defined Scale for Goal Setting (S4GS) and Score for Occupation (S4O).</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">Dr. Geriga is a Paediatric Oncologist and Hematologist. He holds a Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery (MBchB) Masters of medicine in paediatric / child-health. He is undertaking fellowships in Oncology/ Hematology, in AMC and ACLI. Dr. Geriga is Clinician/ Researcher and Trainer who is currently working at the Uganda Cancer Institute. He is interested in understanding and supporting children and adolescents living with chronic illnesses. He conducted research that demonstrated the high incidence of muscle cancers of the face that were previously often misdiagnosed as lymph node cancers.</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">Ms. Janet is the Executive Director of Safe places Uganda. Safe places Uganda is a private mental health, psycho-social and rehabilitation services provider in Uganda. She is a psychologist, personal growth and people development professional. She is also enthusiastic about girl child affairs, social justice and development.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">She has over 15 years experience in strategic planning and implementation, management of diverse teams, mental health strategy and care, capacity building and human capital development, and partnership building.</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">Dr. Busingye is an obstetrician and gynecologist specialist who holds a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery, Master of Medicine in Obstetrics and Gynecology. Dr. Busingye is registered with Uganda Medical and Dental Practitioners Council and is the founding member and first President of Uganda Fertility Society (UFS). He has clinical interest in Male infertility and luteal support. He is highly regarded by his peers and has mentored several fertility specialists in Uganda.</p>
